Our rye flour has a distinctive flavour. It has a lower gluten content than wheat, so won’t give the same rise as wheat flours, but is great for blending with wheat flours to get both a rise, and the flavour of the rye. Rye is great for making Scandinavian-style 100% rye sourdough loaves - a denser loaf, but full of flavour. Our current rye is grown in Oxfordshire. Available in 1.5kg or 3kg bags. Due to the current COVID-19 situation we will be limiting our customer orders to 6kg total with a maximum of 3kg of any individual flour. We are able to offer UK mainland mail order as an option.
